Grips
A major application area for TPEs is soft-touch grips. The tactile appeal, easy processing and design flexibility mean our materials are used in grips ranging from toothbrushes to sports equipment to power-tools.
The material structure of our TPEs produce the high surface 'tackiness' and high friction required for these applications. You can choose between filled or unfilled grades to give the desired effect; unfilled material is scratch resistant and has a lower density than filled materials. While filled materials are more heat-resistant and give a 'drier' feeling.
Applications include:
Soft touch sgrips for toothbrushes, bikes, ski-poles, beer crates, pens, cooking utensils, power tools, shavers, hand tools, vehicle steering wheels, cups, food packaging, hair brushes, garden tools.
